Orthopaedic cast paddings made from natural or synthetic non-woven fabrics with no added optical whitening agents are used before any type of bandage to protect the skin or where swelling is expected.

:: Composition

Cast padding is composed of 100% Cellulose fiber providing excellent protection and comfort to the patient. Cellulose retains good wicking properties, which allows it to transport moisture and rapidly dry the cast.

:: Indication

Soft Roll/Cast Padding is used to provide cushion (liner) under the Synthetic Cast or Plaster of Paris Bandage. Cast Padding helps prevent sores and irritation due to pressure points inside the cast. The padding conforms well to any contour and it helps to keep the skin dry and comfortable.
